Contact Hollywood Backflow Certifications and Repairs
Our technicians respond to calls about backflow assemblies, water heater connections and drain obstructions. Share the type of device, any visible test cock conditions or recent pressure shifts so the proper differential gauge and repair kit travel with the crew.

Service area: the USA
Details to Provide When Scheduling
- Serial or model number visible on the backflow preventer body or adjacent shutoff valves.
- Approximate static pressure reading taken at an outdoor hose bib if a gauge was used.
- Which fixtures show reduced flow after the main isolation valve or pressure reducing valve.
- Whether the water heater is tank or tankless and its distance from the backflow assembly.
Steps to Protect the Supply While Waiting
- Leave all test cocks and isolation valves in their current positions so hydraulic pressure across the checks remains stable and no reverse flow path opens to the potable line.
- If active leakage occurs at the relief port, place a bucket beneath it rather than attempting to adjust the downstream shutoff, preserving the air gap that prevents backsiphonage.
- Clear any stored items from the device area to allow direct access to the number two check valve and relief valve without moving hoses or creating new cross connections.
What Occurs After the Call Is Placed
After the appointment is set a technician arrives with test equipment and isolates the assembly at the upstream gate valve. A three-valve differential pressure test is performed on both check valves and the relief valve to confirm the required pressure differentials that block backflow. Any failed components are replaced before the system is returned to service and retested.
